UPDATE: This is my 2nd Ford under a serious recall, but Peoria Ford recall department never returns your call. However, 8pm I get a call my caller ID identifies as "Healthcare" and to my surprise it's the Peoria Ford Sales Team asking me how my Car is doing. Does the recall team give their client list to the sales team? I wouldn't expect anything less slimy and shady from these snakes. Lied to me about the cost of the car $6000 more than advertised. Lied to me about giving me any trade value for mine, gave me $0. Lied to me about giving me a free "service plan" including oil changes, actually

What a horrible place. Went in for a simple safety recall for F150 XLT 4X4, 3 days later received vehicle back after their extensive maintenance. Was told vehicle was safe to drive. Drove home almost got into another accident safety recall wasnt done properly or didnt take vehicle downshifting from 6 to 2. Now this morning started vehicle and engine wont go into any gear! Now my engine looks like this. Looks so wrong. BEWARE also check Yelp reviews. Also oil stains in the vehicle. SMH adding photo of what my engine looked like prior. Picture is of a used truck same model as mine from local deal

Friendly staff but slow purchasing process, takes hours. Good car and truck selection, but classic haggling, nickel and diming and surprise fees encountered to complicate and prolong the transaction. Lied to us about replacing the timing chain to make the extended warranty more attractive. Happy with what we got, but would prefer not to do business with this dealership again. There are other dealers out there that are much more transparent.... Update...tried multiple times to contact the customer service person whose reply follows, only to leave voice messages that were never returned. Having

This is the most dishonest dealership I have ever done business with. Their finance department will try to sell you the “Platinum Service Package”, they will tell you it’s Bumper to Pumper and covers everything the 3 year 30,000 mile doesn’t. That’s a lie. My 15,000 mile oil change service cost $529 dollars. When confronted, they will deny saying it. Have a witness, which I did. Check their BBB rating and look at their reviews. Wish I had. Avoid this dealership unless you want to get ripped off.

Avoid this dealership if possible, they do not care about your time or property. I scheduled recall service two weeks before when I planned to drop my van off, they told me it would take a few days to do the work, I thought why since it was a simple part on the drivetrain that needed to be replaced, maybe 2hrs. When I dropped it off on Monday they said it would be done in 4 or 5 days, I asked if I could drop the van off on Thursday then and they said no. Friday afternoon I call them since I haven’t heard a thing from them and they say they haven’t done any work on the van. I decide to pick up

Service Department is a Scam! In July, during a scheduled, but you cannot wait oil change and tire rotation service visit, I suddenly required an additional $1,700 worth of work. Identified were both filters, brakes at 4mm, and a battery. I was skeptical and informed them I would return at a later date. I ordered the replacement filters directly from Ford and replaced them myself, partially as a check and balance. I returned today, barely 1,000 miles later, as the battery did ultimately fail. I requested the brake service be performed as well. The call I received a few hours later was shocking

5/17/2021: Edit: Unsurprisingly the company is still ignoring me. Do not go here, PEORIA FORD DISCRIMINATES AGAINST WOMEN. 2/6/2021 Edit: I have emailed the manager a few times and they ghosted me and anytime I called no one knew what I was talking about or remembered the appointment so they successfully slid their shady behavior under the rug. It has been a over year now since my last contact. If you're a woman and go here alone beware that they will try to add services or "repairs" you don't need because they want to make money off of you. If I could give this dealer ZERO stars on a review I would. Without hesitation, this is by far the worst Ford dealer you can go to. Within the last year, my family has bought a total of 5 Fords from this dealer, all have warranty’s, and transmission went out on one of them, and they tell me it’s voided over a user error when it’s stated to be a manufacturer faulty... But I’m not done, customer service is worse here than any other dealer you can go to and thats guaranteed. Rude with no manners, one of the guys in the sales tower came to talk numbers with us and after some firm negotiation, rude

BUYER BEWARE!!! This is the typical sleazy dealer experience that people warn you of. Once you purchase from them, you are just a number, not a client. Once I signed my papers, customer service went out the window. I spent hours being sold a warranty after telling them multiple times, I just wanted to buy the car and nothing more. It was 11pm before I could even leave the dealer. The next day I noticed the gas tank was never filled, there was a burned out brake bulb, and there were several dealer inventory stickers on the roof of my car. When I returned to the dealer, they basically told me wh

So, I am really reluctant to leave a negative review, but this is a case where I can not, in good conscience, hold back. Peoria Ford sold us a new 2024 Ford Mach E-X last year, and during the signing of the contracts and financing, we were offered an extended warranty. We were told this would cover us should we own the car for more than the factory bumper-to-bumper warranty covers. Well, we traded it in within the first year with about 3000 miles on it- yes, just 3000 miles- at another dealer and applied to get a refund for the extended warranty that Peoria Ford sold us. Not once during the si

!!!!CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! If I can give NO stars I would. DO NOT GET YOUR TRUCK SERVICED HERE. I’m not sure where they get their pricing from but I had a truck engine light on so I took it in for a diagnostic test. Long story short they recommended a handful of things that was not necessary. Not to mention what I really needed repaired was not a fair and honest quote. I have an extended warranty that should have covered the majority of this repair. Come to find out from another Ford dealer in town for the same amount of work and factoring in my extended warranty it was less than half of what I

UPDATE 3: When I dropped my truck off for maintenance, I was told it was time for the 60k mile service. That service was $980 and I was given a pamphlet describing included services. A few hours later, I receive a quote for over $3,400 for more services that were due because the truck had reached 60k miles. That feels like a complete bait-&-switch. I understand those additional services were optional. That they weren’t on the pamphlet describing what’s potentially due at 60k is disingenuous. I was dealt an absolutely awful deck of cards on a trip. 1850 miles away from home and suffered a break down. Brought my truck here trusting they could get my truck fixed while I made other arrangements to get home in the mean time and back once the repairs were complete. Sadly this reasonable expectation was completely crushed. After bringing my truck in for a low fuel rail pressure issue, I was assured their tech is “one of the best in the area” and that he was “confident in his diagnosis”. That was to the tune of $1400. Which, I felt it was reasonable and I had no issue with it. But… that d

The Volkswagen wind shield had cracks, the side mirrors didn’t work, and there were a few scratches. I was told the safety features would be fixed when I returned the next day and they could fix the minor scratches. Last year my fiance and I decided to trade in both our vehicles that were working but not really family vehicles for a newer and family-like vehicle. We purchased a 2018 Jeep. We were told that they did a thorough inspection of the vehicle and everything was working perfectly. 3 weeks after we bought the vehicle we had to get an oil change because you know they don't do when they sell used cars. 6 months later we had to purchase a new battery because they also don't do that. I’m sure their PR department will swoop in with the usual “we’re sorry to hear about your experience” response. Save it. There is not a plane on Earth fast enough to get me far enough away from this dealership. Started with a classic bait-and-switch: the price was over $6,000 higher than what was advertised online once the mystery fees, add-ons, and nonsense started appearing. The salesman seemed far more interested in performing magic tricks than selling cars. The sales manager was unbelievably arrogant and disrespectful because negotiations didn’t go exactly how he wanted. Also, wearing whit

This was one of the worst dealership experiences I've had on the sales side. My wife and I visited after being told they had a Ford Ranger available to lease for around $0 down and $270/month. Once the salesman returned from speaking with the managers, he presented an offer of $8,000 down and $380/month-completely different from what Juan, the sales manager, had quoted me over the phone. Oh man, where to begin? I would absolutely not recommend going here for a vehicle. 1. I was supposed to receive $7,946 in rebates. The paperwork shows $2,250 in rebates. The salesman tells me that because my original offer on my trade-in was $1,500, they rolled $3,000 of the rebates into my trade-in bringing it up to $4,500 but I didn't find that out until I drove off the lot and was NEVER told that while I was there. I went to Peoria Ford for the first time in Sept with extended warranty to fix a turning clunk noise and to get a brake service (new brakes/service rotors/brake line fluid replacement). This was a nightmare of a business deal. I bought my 2016 Fusion out of a lease to own on 12/14/2017. My original finance manager was Michael, who signed me up for a Mechanical Protection Plan adding over $1000 to the financing amount, which I had not approved and had clearly stated, "I do not want to purchase any MPP or club plan." I went in on a Tuesday evening needing a new car as mine was a money pit and needed work that wouldn't be worth putting the money into it. Signed for it a car, paid the down payment, they told me the car still needed to be detailed but would be ready the next day. It wasn't. They made the excuse of having a bunch

Please read the reviews before trusting this place. The sales price you see on their website will not be honored. The sticker price will not be honored. They will mark it up extensively and while chit chatting with you about your family, after waiting 3-4 hrs, leaving you tired and hungry. They will get you to sign without you even know how much the base price really is. They refuse to answer your calls after it's sold. Don't let them scam you with their tactics. My dad has had the worst experience with this place. They kept his car for 4 months because of their faulty transmission and since the parts were on back order. That would be understandable if they met him half way with helping with a loaner or rental. Since the part was covered by his warranty they still found a way to charge him by replacing his battery without him knowing. All of a sudden it was “fixed” but after he picked it up the radio didn’t work and the car still felt as though it wasn’t shifting correctly (which he called and brought to their attention, they of course gaslighted him a

Deceptive sales practices are alive and well at Peoria Ford. A year ago, my son was sold a vehicle, a promise and a lie. He purchased a vehicle with a promise by the salesman that after one year of managing the payments under the purchase and finance program that the dealership placed, they would then get him into a vehicle and/or finance program that was “much lower” and that he could afford. A year later, after meeting the payment terms for 12 months, he and I went to dealership. Sales guy was long gone, and the dealership manager, Rob Hubler, said “no way can we help you get where you need

******BUYER BEWARE *****If I could rate zero stars I would. Original contract for the vehicle does not reflect that the warranty was 20% over at the time of purchase and the vehicle was sold as new. Will not service or warranty a vehicle as required due to committing fraud and cheating the consumer out of a warranty. Pat Hickey is also not a man of his word, when he was spoken to about rectifying the issue he neglected to ever call me back or have a conversation as to why the vehicle was sold and a contract signed under false pretenses. Beware! Do not take your car here for repairs, we were given an estimate $5900.00 that took them 2 days to do. We have a 2023 Ford Bronco we were told we need a water pump, alternator and alternator belt, when in fact we only needed an alternator with belt but we did not need a water pump at all. It turns out we needed a clamp on the hose. We paid $1200.00 for repairs, it’s sad when you can’t trust repair shops, I really didn’t expect that from them. Unbelievable... I found a listing for a 2023 F-150 and was interested in taking a look. I called the dealership to ask if the vehicle was still available, which they confirmed. I was ready to head out the door so I told them I'd be there in 1/2 hour and they said they would get the vehicle ready. I got to the dealership and they brought me inside to get my information. I figured this is standard because I wanted to test drive the truck. They also asked about a trade in, to which I responded that they don't want my truck b/c it's older and has a ton of miles on it. ? Update – July 30, 2025 After years of giving this dealership my business—despite countless issues—I was shocked by what happened today. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars on service at Peoria Ford after purchasing a $100,000 F-350 Dually from them. I chose to forgive them for earlier incidents, including Pat Hickey’s disrespectful and unprofessional behavior toward my wife and me, false promises about the $10,000 “Platinum Warranty” that never applied to my truck, and repeated appointment cancellations that wasted my time and caused stress to my family. Despite all of that, I kept comin

I would like to start out this review by saying this dealership is by FAR the worst that we have ever dealt with. They are a total bait and switch dealership! We inquired on a 2020 GT500 on 02/03/2024 that they had recently put up for sale on their lot. I was in correspondence with salesman Cory Villarreal and a few emails were exchanged on this day to make sure this vehicle was still available. I bought a used vehicle from this dealership about a year and a half ago. I also purchased an extended warranty. The warranty that was described to me was the ‘platinum’ package, a full coverage warranty with the exception of regular maintenance items, and I agreed. Unfortunately the employee doing the paperwork made a slight of hand that I didn’t catch (shame on me) and marked ‘bronze’ package, which is a completely different warranty that includes only major engine and transmission repairs. I am only now realizing I was duped now that my vehicle is requiring an almost 1k repair that is uncov

We recently bought a car over the weekend and this was our experience and I hope it helps others. The managers were ok. We spoke to 3 of them, out of the 3, there was only one who was really nice and concerned. We worked with two sales people. Joseph G. was who we initially started working with he was great he asked all the right questions, was respectful and nice. He made sure we stayed within our price range and was genuine. There was a lot of fees and what you see selling price add on 6k to 10k in what they want you to pay for, including if you buy used: open maintenance orders, security fe

Peoria Ford is by far the worst dealership out there. They pride them selves on customer service, integrity, kindness and respect. No one this was shown in the service I received after singing the contract with them. They have the worst customer service. My sister financed a car with Peoria ford early on Tuesday. Several months back I went to Peoria Ford to look at a 2015 F150 FX4 King Ranch. I did not like the hard sale tactics, keep bringing in Mgrs to complete the sale. We came to what I felt was a reasonable price and I agreed to buy the truck. I am rebuilding my credit from a divorce several yrs back, so I came with a preapproved loan with 7.9%. I put significant down payment and signed. It was then I realized I had agreed to a $5000.00 extended warranty. My fault, I missed it. The "finance guy" said he could get a better % rate. Worst care sales experience ever. I purchased a used truck last weekend 10/21/17. I love the truck. The price for my truck and the trade-in value I received were fair; however, that is where the good ends. They forced me to pay for Zaktek (paint protection) and Skylink (anti-theft GPS) even though it was supposedly already on the truck. These are MPP products so I understand why they push them so hard since MPP and Peoria Ford are both owned by Berkshire Hathaway. After the price negotiation finished, the finance guy continued to push MPP products with extended service and roadside assistance

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. NOBODY that works in sales or finance returns phone calls ever! NOBODY! Literally, left messages with the receptionist for 3 different people for almost 3 weeks straight with no call back from anyone. Some employees either don't have their voicemail setup or it's full and you can't leave a message. They sold me the top maintenance plan but when I went to use it, the MP provider told me I didn't have the plan I paid for. So I spent weeks getting that fixed. While trying to negotiate a car down from the internet (Autotrader) price, I was informed from the 'finance' manager that the online advertised price of $13,995 was simply a "marketing strategy" so that he could say on the radio (Johnjay and Rich) that he was selling 2016 Fusions for that price. Once we began negotiating the total price after 'fees' and taxes was almost $21,000. More than 50% over the online price. My 23,000 new car in 2006 was worth 3000 on a trade in to these hustlers. I was furious that didn't read the fine print. Took my brand new 2024 F350 in for the first oil change (not purchased from Peoria Ford), expected that being so low miles, dealer with a supposed good rep etc., that I would get great service. Paid $129 for the "extra additives" with truck oil change & tire rotation. I ASSUME they actually changed to oil. They did not rotate the tires, I know because how much was in front and back, and they werent moved. The cab was disgusting! Oil stains all over my armrest, steering wheel and door. I also bought seat covers 2 months ago, with a section of white leather along the side, that was full of black

Won't respond to my emails. Check engine was on at pick-up, tech left something loose. There is no service manager employed here. I have 12 or so problems with my warranty repair. I bought a 2012 Tundra here. I paid in full and did not finance in 1/2020. I paid for an extended warranty that I was told by the sales team covered bumper to bumper. I had to replace the battery, I now need new struts after 3000 miles, and my security system is not working properly. These are not covered as I was led to believe after paying over 1500.00 for that warranty. I also paid for two years of registration and was told the truck had two years of emissions done on it. I have purchased four vehicles from the Peoria Ford dealership. There are two mains issues that I am currently dealing with. 1. I’ve purchased my vehicle this past August. According to my contract, I have a seven months deferment on my payment. Ford sent me a check to cover only six months of payments. I have text one of the employees Tyler Huber, and he told me that he has to talk to his supervisor. It’s been over three months now, and I have not received any information. Now it is to the point, that Tyler, doesn’t even return my text messages. Totally unprofessional! 2. My wife got in a car

I went to Pat Hickey’s Peoria Ford for the first time and my experience was horrible! We purchased a car, but I had to go back twice to redo the contract. Within the first month I was told that financing didn’t go through and I had to return the vehicle. When the vehicle was returned they refused to return my down payment, they stated that the car had 6,000 miles put on it but I know for a fact I only put 2,100. I only went to work and back. My insurance company took pictures of the vehicle when it was insured, and it shows that the miles on the car are different than the miles on the contract

This was a nightmare of a business deal. My husband bought our 2016 Fusion out of a lease to own on 12/14/2017. The original finance manager signed him up for a Mechanical Protection Plan adding over $1000 to the financing amount, which had not been approved by us. Michael, the finance manager, made out like he was giving us Skylink for free as a courtesy, however that was not the case. Don't ever purchase a warranty from them. They claim they'll cover a rental but they only cover 4 days and they'll purposefully use that 4 days for "diagnosis" then charge you for the rental during repair. Taken in for my moonroof 3 times now, said it was fixed all 3 times and just broke a few months later, which is 100% on them (either poor manufacturing from ford or negligence from the mechanic) but still won't cover the rental. Beware of dishonest sales practices. Our salesman and his superior attempted to charge us $1000 over the listed price, misrepresented a vehicle’s trade-in value in an attempt to draw us in, and threw in several incentives during negotiations (tinted windows and painted wheels) only to disguise them in the final cost without explanation. When called out on these things, they covered each of them up as a “misunderstanding” and only ended up honoring the original listed sales price. If you choose to buy from them, which I do not recommend, be prepared to be lied to and get as much in writing up f

Sales was very good. Tanner did a great job initially. Unfortunately finance dept needs a lesson in honesty. They literally tried to hide an extended warranty in the contract after I repeatedly told him I didn't want it. He changed the interest rate to hide it and that's the oldest trick in the book.
